Drug Dogs #1 ZINE
Small zine from the U.S.A. Totally loved it. It looks messy (in a good way) and has all these little parts to read in the corners etc. You just keep on reading.
This edition has long interviews with Greg Lockin Out & Cold World. Long, multiple-page- reviews of Dmize, War Hungry etc. Just pick up a copy.
Against The Haze issue #3 ZINE
Third issue of Dries his zine and it looks great. Interviews with Balance, Rise And Fall and World Gone Mad. A Have Heart tour diary, photoalbums of Fluff Fest (Rise And Fall, Have Heart) & Some Hardcore (Guns Up). Some columns (including one of mine I totally forgot I wrote) and reviews too.
Will To Speak #3 ZINE
Issue #3 and probably the last one.
Interviews with: Debaser, Lewd Acts, Seed Of Pain, Ian Wiles (Dead & Gone Records), Ghetto Josh (Hexed Clothing). Plus: Photo Exhibition (rabbitriot.net), columns, Book Club & Austrian band news.
A really clean (in a great way) lay-out. Loved it!
Outspoken #0 Year 1 ZINE
A zine in English from Ireland, done by a girl from Brazil. Does it get any more international? Anyway, a nice half A4 sized zine in quality print. Interviews with Rise And Fall, John Joseph, Chris Wrenn (Bridge 9), Famine and a report on the Irish scene.

Adult Crash BOOK with EP
This book compiles two decades of photographs from Dave Brown, a local fixture at shows in the Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC area. Along with tons of photos, this book also includes anecdotes about surviving the “adult crash” from John Joseph, Walter Schreifels, Paul Bearer, Brian Walsby, Eric Ozenne, Rick Ta Life, Tim McMahon and more. Plus, a 7″ is included featuring Down To Nothing, Kill Your Idols, The Slumlords and Cloak/Dagger.
It has a picture of Four Walls Falling on the cover. That should be reason enough to buy it ;)
Deal With It - End Time Prophecies LP
They have created a record which honours the memory of old New York hardcore and its mythos but have stamped it with their own distinctive mark. Bleak riffs marry bleaker lyrics which spit out a scornful wake up call reflecting current planetary chaos. 12 tracks which hit hard but also have something definitive to say – a real rarity in today’s hardcore climate of posturing, jealousy and whinging. Fans of ‘Alpha O’ Cro Mags, The Icemen and Breakdown will get a buzz out of this.
To cap it all off the LP features artwork from Ed Repka (Megadeth, Nuclear Assault etc) which perfectly encapsulates the vision of singer Mike. Sweet huh?

Skull Crusher - Blinded By Illusion 12 inch EP
This is how Reflections put it:
Combining elements of overdriven heavy rock, early thrash metal, and timeless 80′s era NYHC, this volatile combination instantly provides the catalyst for a dance floor consumed with controlled rage and unified violence. With deafening vocals, hard beats, massive riffs, and chaotic solos all captured in a brutally big recording…it’s like a headbanging scientist’s mix of Cro-Mags, old Metallica, and Raw Deal – being played by guys that witnessed it all first hand and took extensive notes while gasping for air between mosh parts. Limited to 500 copies on colored vinyl.
To me it sounds like Judge. I love Judge.
HRVST: Death BOOK
Let’s let Johan Prenger do the talking on this one:
Reflections Records / Averse Publishing. Ever since Reflections Magazine released its final issue, we’ve always said that there will be a day that we’re gonna do something with the written word again. And that day has come! We’re very excited to be working with Averse Publishing to pubish HRVST.
HRVST is not a music magazine / book. It´s not about telling you how a new record sounds or how the tour of our favorite band went. Instead we “harvest“ experiences, ideas and stories of people from the DIY music and art scene and produce a book that focuses on their individual stories and experiences, shedding light on a very up, close and personal level, building on a bigger, more complex and truthful picture of who they really are and what makes them the persons they are. Beyond the stage, beyond the canvas, beyond what you seem to know about them already. And in the end uniting them in one single topic per issue.
The first publication of HRVST focuses on the topic of “Death“. It contains diverse contributions by the likes of CHUCK RAGAN (known from Hot Water Music), ROB MORAN (Unbroken, Narrows), WESLEY EISOLD American Nightmare / Give Up The Ghost), STEVE BRODSKY (Cave In), EUGENE S. ROBINSON (Oxbow), CHRIS COLOHAN (Cursed, Left For Dead), GEERT VAN DER VELDE (Shai Hulud) among many, many others. 166 pages beautiful layed out and printed.
Updating...Disclaimer: Since we take some of this stuff with us to shows, it might happen that we sold the last piece of an item you ordered at a show. We’ll always check our “inventory” before we let you pay anything though, so you’ll always know upfront. After you place your order we’ll get back to you about shipping and packaging costs.
