Never Again / Ironclad split EP
Never Again are putting out releases almost on a daily basis. Awesome. This time it’s a split with Ironclad. UK on the rise. This is white with blue haze vinyl. Only 100 made.
Icepick - final 7"
Picked these up at the final show we played with them last weekend. Icepick was as good as ever. Gotta love that band. Or as the label puts it:
Take a trip to memory lane in Dutch hardcore and reminisce one of the most promising bands from the Netherlands in the last decade. It was 2003 when a young band called Icepick put out a demo on Discontent Records. The 5 songs inspired by bands like Cro Mags, Bad Brains and the Icemen turned many people’s head. I still remember setting up a show in a small pub and the weeks before you could feel the tension rising and before Icepick struck their first note, you knew the place would explode. Numerous shows throughout Europe followed and meanwhile the band got picked up by Not Just Words Records for their debut CD ‘Goldrush’. This simply was the perfect follow up to their amazing demo. Some more Icemen and later-era Cro Mags influences were thrown in the mix, and all songs were delivered with so much precision, the harsh riffs, precious drum fills, the guitarsolos and the honest lyrics, you just had to bang your head to this one… ‘Goldrush’ got alot positive feedback and Icepick again played all over Europe. And then things got silent.
Until 2010 when a show in the Innocent, Hengelo (NL) was announced. Then on some trip to the UK, singer Emiel also noticed that there were 2 songs still unreleased, that Icepick would love to get out. Of course The Limit Records was very eager to do this job, so here we go.

Union Town - s/t EP
I’ll let Bootsman do the talking on this one, copy and paste of his review for asice.net:
“I was always under assumption that this band already reached their compositional maturity with their self titled debut. But boy, I was dead wrong. Side A’s title track alone should draw a truly breathtaking response from their listeners. After a lengthy Fucked Up-esque intro the band rips into a mesmerizing rocker that would do well as an opening track for any Tarantino movie. Six minutes seem to fly by as you get sucked into the song. Side B features two tracks that come uncannily close to perfection as well. With “Blinding Lights” they have set the bar really high for themselves. Luckily, “Singing our world into existence” and “Start from the end” are both winners on their own and prove once more that they have grown musically and lyrically. Less punk, more rock! On a sadder note, this EP is also their farewell. Fuckers!”

Adult Crash BOOK with EP
This book compiles two decades of photographs from Dave Brown, a local fixture at shows in the Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC area. Along with tons of photos, this book also includes anecdotes about surviving the “adult crash” from John Joseph, Walter Schreifels, Paul Bearer, Brian Walsby, Eric Ozenne, Rick Ta Life, Tim McMahon and more. Plus, a 7″ is included featuring Down To Nothing, Kill Your Idols, The Slumlords and Cloak/Dagger.
It has a picture of Four Walls Falling on the cover. That should be reason enough to buy it ;)
Deal With It - End Time Prophecies LP
They have created a record which honours the memory of old New York hardcore and its mythos but have stamped it with their own distinctive mark. Bleak riffs marry bleaker lyrics which spit out a scornful wake up call reflecting current planetary chaos. 12 tracks which hit hard but also have something definitive to say – a real rarity in today’s hardcore climate of posturing, jealousy and whinging. Fans of ‘Alpha O’ Cro Mags, The Icemen and Breakdown will get a buzz out of this.
To cap it all off the LP features artwork from Ed Repka (Megadeth, Nuclear Assault etc) which perfectly encapsulates the vision of singer Mike. Sweet huh?
Never Again / Mind Trap split EP
Never Again is blowing up the UK at the moment. Fast and pissed off straight edge hardcore. Mind Trap is coming from Vienna and rages hard.

Said And Done - Weight Of The World EP
Our latest 7″, out on Carry The Weight Records from the UK. 4 brand new songs. Comes with a download card.
Skull Crusher - Blinded By Illusion 12 inch EP
This is how Reflections put it:
Combining elements of overdriven heavy rock, early thrash metal, and timeless 80′s era NYHC, this volatile combination instantly provides the catalyst for a dance floor consumed with controlled rage and unified violence. With deafening vocals, hard beats, massive riffs, and chaotic solos all captured in a brutally big recording…it’s like a headbanging scientist’s mix of Cro-Mags, old Metallica, and Raw Deal – being played by guys that witnessed it all first hand and took extensive notes while gasping for air between mosh parts. Limited to 500 copies on colored vinyl.
To me it sounds like Judge. I love Judge.
Underdog - s/t (red) EP
It’s Underdog. The s/t 7″ re-released by Bridge 9 Records. You need this. Red vinyl.
This Routine Is Hell - The Verve Crusade LP
It’s good to see new, young bands from the Netherlands rising up (it’s well needed). Especially if they’re as good as this. Inspired by bands as Minor Threat, Paint It Black and Panic as they say it themselves they’re taking the world by storm. Get with the program.
